Biography

Dr. Ágnes Stugner provides legal advice primarily in the fields of corporate law, commercial law, including e-commerce and intellectual property matters. She also focuses on real estate transactions (sale, leasing and development), European law, labour law and international commercial agreements.

After her postgraduate studies in France in European law, she started her legal career in Budapest at Gide Loyrette Nouel, a noted international law firm with French background. During this period, she represented many foreign and predominantly French medium size and big companies in various commercial sectors including hospitality and food, industrial and the automotive industry. After 5 years of international law firm experience, Ágnes became the legal director of a Hungarian group of companies in the cinema industry. Since 2008, she works as senior lawyer at mid-sized Hungarian law firms operating as part of an international network of law firms.

Ágnes graduated at the University Lóránd Eötvös of Budapest in legal sciences and obtained her post-graduate degree in European Law at the University François Rabelais in Tours (France). She has a specialization in business law and is a partner at the Budapest Office of the LegalAgain international network offices. She is a member of the Budapest Bar Association. Ágnes is fluent in English, French and Hungarian and comfortable in transacting business in either language.

In her free time, Ágnes plays tennis, cycles and deepens her gastronomical knowledge and regularly attends concerts and movie theaters. She loves travelling and especially keen on being outdoors experiencing nature by either trekking or hiking with family and friends. She is a volunteer of the Smiling Hospital Foundation (www.mosolygokorhaz.hu) and is a member of the “Association des Juristes Européens”.
